Instructors: Creating an Account

The Login Page

To log in as an instructor, you'll navigate to your organization's learning Canopy. 

Each organization has their own unique Canopy link.

  • To login for the first time, you must be provisioned by your organization's administrator. Once you have been provisioned you will receive a email with the link to your learning canopy, we recommend bookmarking this link. 
    • Can't find the email? Be sure to check your spam folder. 
    • If you are still unable to find the email, use your organization's Canopy link to access the login page. 


  • On your first visit you will sign up using Google or by creating credentials. 
    • It is important that your email address matches the email address used by admin to provision your account. 



Logging in with Google


We recommend using your google account to sign up with, as no new password is required. 

  • You must choose the Google account and agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions to move forward.



Create an account 

If you are not logging in with Google, you can choose to create your account credentials. To create an account, use your provisioned email address and create a password. 

  • Passwords must be contain more than 6 characters, contain at least 1 letter, 1 number, and 1 special character. 

Choosing your Role

If you have been provisioned with multiple roles, you will need to choose which role you are logging in as; Learner, Instructor, or Leader.

  • Learners participate in professional learning courses. 
  • Instructors create and manage their professional learning courses. 
  • Leaders analyze data across multiple courses. 



Once you have logged in as an instructor you are ready to Create a Course!
