Admin: Connect Domain to Canopy

Admin can edit the subdomain to connect your learning Canopy to your organization's domain from the branding options. 


Connect your Organization's Domain to Canopy

To connect your organization's domain to your learning Canopy, log in as an admin and navigate to Custom Branding and choose Domain


In order to connect your learning Canopy to a domain you need to have already purchased this domain from a domain provider such as GoDaddy. 


  1. Select Connect domain in Canopy
  2. Input your previously purchased domain and select Next 
  3. Follow the steps to add the CNAME to your DNS records.

You will need to set up your domain name by 

  1. Signing into your domain provider 
  2. Access the DNS settings 
  3. Add the following CNAME to your DNS records - use the copy icon to copy the CNAME to your clipboard. 
  4. Click ‘Done, let's verify CNAME’

The connection could take up to 48 hours. 


You will receive an email from Canopy once the connection has been made.


A check mark will show once domain has been confirmed. 


To disconnect or edit, select the edit icon.
