Admin can create a subdomain for Canopy from the custom branding options. 

Create a Subdomain for your Organization's Canopy Site

To create a subdomain for your organization's learning Canopy site, log in as an admin and navigate to Custom Branding and choose Domain. 

In order to create a subdomain, you need to have already purchased this domain from a domain provider such as GoDaddy.  

1. Select Create a subdomain for Canopy site. 
2. Input your previously purchased domain and your subdomain, then select Next. 
   • Set up subdomain in your domain provider (such as GoDaddy)
3. Follow the steps to add the CNAME to your DNS records.

1. Add CNAME to your DNS record. Use the copy icon to copy the CNAME to your clipboard. 
2. Click ‘Done, let's verify CNAME’. 

Creating your subdomain can take up to 45 minutes to be verified. 

A green check mark with the custom subdomain will be shown once the subdomain is connected successfully.
