Feedback and grades can be left for learners from the Manage Learners page, Gradebook, or Stack of Paper on the Curriculum page.
Feedback & Grading
As an instructor provide feedback or grade submitted activities from the Manage Learners table, Gradebook or Stack of Papers.
Manage Learners
From the Manage Learners table review learner submissions leave feedback on any submitted activity. You are also able to 'Accept' or 'Send back' an activity. Sending back an activity allows the learner to use your feedback, make edits, and resubmit.
- In Manage Learners, view and monitor learner progress by expanding the learner's name and then expand the module and sections to view the submissions within each.
- When viewing a learner's submission you are able to provide feedback, award points for graded questions, and select 'Accept' or 'Send Back'.
- Learners are able to view feedback and awarded points from their 'My Coursework' tab.
- Choosing 'Accept' indicates the submission meets the activity requirements and points were awarded for graded questions.
- Choosing 'Send Back' indicates the submission does not meet the minimum requirements. The activity will be sent back to the learner to be re-submitted.
- Feedback is required before sending back an activity. Their progress will be recalculated and they will receive a notification to review your feedback.

- Select the arrow icon on any activity to view the learner's submission.
- Activity arrows in each activity box are color coded.

After selecting an activity arrow:
- View the selected learner's submission and other learners submissions for the selected question by using the arrows at the top found next to the learner name.
- To view all submissions for the same learner use the color coded arrows in each activity box.
- Leave feedback for learners on any submitted question.
- Assign points earned or edit points earned on each graded question.
Stack of Paper
'Stack of Paper' can be found in the section title bar from the Curriculum page. When opening the ‘Stack of Paper,’ you will see the activities from the section and all of the learner responses. This is the quickest way to look at all responses for a particular question.

For each activity use the Stack of Paper to view individual learner responses. Within the Stack of Paper you can:
- Click through all learner submissions to easily view each learner's response for a single question.
- Select the person icon in the top right of the activity to see which learners have submitted or not submitted for a particular activity. Click on a learner's name to go directly to their response.
- Provide feedback and award points to learners.
- If necessary, provide feedback and send back a submission to a learner. This will mark the question incomplete for the learner. They'll know to resubmit due to the recalculated progress and a red border around the content block.
- The ‘Accept’ button is only relevant if points were attached to the question, and it is not auto-graded. The accept and send back buttons work the same way in Manage Learners.
