Instructors: Adding a Multi-Question Quiz in a Course

As an instructor you can create a multi-question quiz with the '+ Question' content building block. When creating a quiz, you will have access to the auto-graded question types and then you are able to customize the quiz using the quiz settings. 

Create a Quiz 

A multi-question quiz allows you to add multiple questions in one content block. 

• Choose the '+ Question' from the content block options.  
• Toggle the question type from single question to multiple question quiz.  
• Create quiz questions using the auto-graded question types. 
  • Auto-graded question types include multiple choice, multiple select, matching, or sorting. 
• Quizzes will automatically assign one point per question. Quizzes must have a point value assigned to the activity. 
• After building the quiz select 'Quiz Settings'. 

When reviewing the quiz, customize the quiz by choosing from the following-  

• Quiz Title
• Allow 1 retake for learners
• Randomize question order for learners 

Once you have customized your quiz, select 'Save'. 

Reset Quiz 

If you need to reset a quiz for a learner to give them another attempt, reset their quiz progress from the 'Manage Learners' tab. 

• Locate the learner and expand the module and section that contains the quiz. Below the learners submitted quiz, choose 'Reset Quiz'. 
• This will reset the quiz for the learner and remove all responses, requiring the learner to re-attempt the quiz. 
• The learner will now be able to redo the quiz.
