TABLE OF CONTENTS

Instructors have the flexibility to publish individual lessons, untits, or an entire course based on their course structure. You can choose to make content available immediately or schedule it for release at a later date.

Publishing Content

Learners will not be able to see any content until you publish the content. You can publish an individual lesson, unit, or the entire course.

You can also schedule to publish content. When you choose the schedule option you can:

  • Set an assigned date/time for the course start.
  • Set a due date/ time.

Publish Course

To publish an entire course, select the course settings and 'Publish Course'. You will then be prompted to choose between publishing now or scheduling.

Publish by Unit or Lesson

Choosing 'Publish All' will publish every lesson in that unit. To publish an individual lesson choose 'Publish lesson'.

  • Tip: Add additional units for cohort based courses that follow the cohort meeting structure.

Publish Now

Select 'Publish Now' to make the content available to learners immediately.

Schedule to Publish

Choose to schedule a course, unit, or lesson to be published to learners at a certain date and/or time.

You can also choose to set a due date for the unit or lesson here. Set an assigned date and due date.

  • The lesson will be published on the assigned date.
  • Select the 'n/a' box if the assigned date or due date does not apply.

Note: You will not be able to publish if any of your lessons contain a blank content block. In these cases you will see a red border letting you know which lessons have blank content.

Once your course has been published, you can still make edits. Learn more here
